Avast just passed it’s 20th anniversary, and to mark the years we’ve just brought our studios to the best shape they’ve ever been!

We grew from a one-studio modest space to a two-studio facility that’s more comfortable and works better.

We’ve been lucky to have always had the attention and music of some of the Northwest’s finest bands (and from further out in the world too!).

With their advice, patronage, and return visits, we’ve grown to be a staple of the music scene here, I thank all the artists and bands for that! Couldn’t have done it without you! ‘It’d all be blank tape without you’, I’ve said many a time.

As I blog, I’ll tell tales of sessions, the travails of maintaining a herd of vintage gear, and the jokes and good times gleaned from all the good times spent here at Avast!
